Chardham Yatra.
Chardham – The most important Hindu religious path in the Himalayas, which is found in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state, in the past which was part of Uttar Pradesh. The path passes through four Hindu pilgrimage destination – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath

Barkot Weather – Generally pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degree Celsius, Winter: The Days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold,temp ranges from 10 deg to 05 deg.
Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. At Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Tapt kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as “Prasad”. Here near the temple “Pooja” can be offered to Divya Shila.
Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs near temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund.
Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams, temples. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, town of Uttarkashi is also situated on the banks of River Ganga.
Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mother’s, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, Sakshi Gopal, Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. Akhand Jyoti as well as Akhand Abhishek, special aarti at morning and evening are offered. As per Skunda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
Shakti temple – Right in front of the Vishwanath temple is Shakti temple. It has a big ‘Trishul’ of about 6 meters in height and a circumference of 90 cms. at bottom. Though there are different views about the making of this, the upper part of it seems to be made up of iron and the lower one is of copper. As per the epics this Shakti was thrown on the devils by the Goddess Durga(Shakti), hence it gets its name. Since then this Shakti is erected over here.
Uttarkashi Weather – Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 30-35 degree Celsius but nights is pleasant, Cold in winters.
Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival at New Delhi airport / train station , welcome and assistance then drive to Haridwar, on arrival check-in hotel , after refreshment go to Harki Pauri , Mansa Devi temple , in evening you can go to Ganga Arti and overnight stay at Haridwar.
Day 02
After breakfast our representative will assist you and drive to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. En-route visit Kempty Fall and later drive to Barkot. On arrival check-in the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03
After breakfast proceed to Yamunotri, Drive to Jankichatti from there you will start your trek route either by walk or pony/doli (at own cost). On arrival at Yamunotri take blessings of Mata Yamuna and for prashad you can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the kund and later trek down to Jankichatti and then drive back to Barkot for overnight stay.
Day 04
After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi, on arrival check-in the hotel and later visit Kashi Vishwanath temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05
After breakfast drive to Gangotri, on arrival have a holy dip in river Bhagirathi at Gangotri. Later drive back to Uttarkashien route visit Gangnani & Harsil. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06
After early breakfast drive to Guptkashi. En-route visits the Heritage City of Tehri. On arrival check in the Hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07
After early breakfast drive to Phatta Helipad or . Departure by Helicopter to Kedarnath or by pony/trek. Visit Kedarnath Temple and return back to Phatta by Helicopter. Later, drive to Guptkashi. Back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08
After breakfast drive to Gangotri, on arrival have a holy dip in river Bhagirathi at Gangotri. Later drive back to Uttarkashien route visit Gangnani & Harsil. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09
After breakfast, early drive to Badrinath. On arrival, take Darshan of Badrivishal and take bath in Taptkund and visit Brahma Kapal, Charanpaduka, NaradKund, Mata Murty Temple, Mana Village, Vasundhara, BhimPul, VyasGufa. Overnight stay at Haridwar hotel.
Day 10
Representatives will assist to transfer you to the Station /Airport for home destination.
